Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO testing, with a strong understanding of financial processes and systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and functionality of SAP FICO modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for SAP FICO modules.
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues through to resolution.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and developers to understand requirements and business processes.
• Ensure that all financial processes are tested and validated according to business needs.
• Conduct root cause analysis on identified defects to ensure appropriate resolution.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test scripts, test data, and test results.
• Participate in test reviews and provide feedback to improve quality and effectiveness.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users as necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO functionalities and testing tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FICO testing.
• Strong understanding of SAP FICO modules and financial processes.
• Proficient in creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• SAP FICO certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing tools and scripts.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in a global or multi-national company.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
